@Joban, Tohoku and Kanetsu Expressway will be all connected by Kita-Kanto Expressway. It means Port of Hitachinaka will be the starting point of the Expressway which connects Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma Prefectures. When the whole route is inaugurated, it will take 1 hour and 10 min from the Port to Utsunomiya in Tochigi and 2 hours to Takasaki in Gunma.
@Port of Hitachinaka, which works as the bridge to connect both the land and sea transport, is expected to become the gateway to Eastern Japan.
